Transfer calls to other extensions or phone numbers using blind transfer (immediate) or attended transfer (announce first).

Attended Transfer: ** or *5
Blind Transfer
Quick Transfer (*2):
- During active call, press
*2 - System prompts: "Transfer to?"
- Dial extension or number:
1234 - Press
#or wait - Call transfers immediately
- You disconnect
Caller Experience:
- Hears "transferring" announcement
- Brief hold music
- Connects to new extension
- Original person disconnected

Attended Transfer
Announced Transfer ()**:
- During call, press

Transferring to external numbers uses trunk resources. May incur charges for external calls. Check policy before external transfers.
Transfer to Voicemail
Send to Voicemail: *5 + extension
Transfer caller directly to someone's voicemail without ringing:
- During call, press
*2(blind transfer) - Dial
*5-1234(extension 1234's voicemail) - Caller hears greeting, can leave message

- Use Attended for VIPs: Announce important callers
- Use Blind for Speed: Routine transfers don't need announcement
- Verify Extension: Confirm correct extension before transferring
